Help city cemetery
The Edmonds Cemetery Board seeks a new member to fill a vacant seat. The group helps maintain the city’s cemetery and plans programs such as the annual “Walk Back in Time” tour, among other tasks. Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. Feb. 24. Democrats meet: The Stanwood Democrats will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Stanwood Community and Senior Center, 7430 276th St. NW. Richard Wright, former Snohomish County Democrats chairman, will present “Washington State Government 101: How to navigate our local and state governing bodies.”
Book drive: Providence General Children’s Association Guild 10 and Everett Community College nursing students will hold a book drive this month to benefit Providence Everett Healthcare Clinic’s Reach Out and Read program.
