Hunt for eggs in Sultan
The Sultan Easter egg hunt and block party is scheduled for noon Saturday at Main and First streets.
Local churches, groups and businesses can set up tables at the event. Those groups are asked to donate to the egg hunt and offer an activity, such as face painting, street bowling, coloring, games or crafts. For more information, email elizabeth_ben2003@yahoo.com.
See drill teams perform: The Marysville School District Navy Junior ROTC drill teams invite the public to a special performance at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the gym at Marysville Pilchuck High School, 5611 108th St. NE. The performance is to show appreciation for the support the teams received during the competitive season.
Stanwood duathlon canceled: The Powerman USA Duathlon in Stanwood, originally set for April 11, has been canceled this year. The organization plans to host a race in Stanwood next April, but registration for this year’s event was not high enough, city officials said. The city had eight weeks to plan and was not able to get the number of participants organizers needed.
