A restored World War II B-17G bomber, the “Sentimental Journey,” is scheduled to be on display and available for rides and tours through Monday at the Arlington Airport, 18204 59th Drive NE.
The visit is taking place in conjunction with the Arlington Fly-In aviation festival, planned for Wednesday through Sunday.
The plane is one of five restored B-17 bombers, also known as “Flying Fortresses,” still flying in the world, according to the Commemorative Air Force. The group maintains and operates the bomber out of Mesa, Ariz.
Tours are available for a donation, and rides are $425 per person. Reservations are available by calling 602-448-9415.
Ghost stories: It could be creepy. It could be scary.
The Mukilteo Library plans a story time with ghost stories and tall tales for children ages 6 to 11 at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The event called “Creepy Chronicles &Farcical Fables” is free to the public. The library is at 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd.

Art show: The Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County has scheduled an art exhibit starting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Schack Art Center, 2921 Hoyt Ave. in Everett. Tickets are $35 per person.
Proceeds would benefit the DVS Capital Campaign to build a new confidential shelter.
People can enjoy appetizers and champagne and see 14 paintings from local artist Bernie Webber.
The public can see the exhibit from July 13 to Aug. 2.
