Friendship Walk
The annual Friendship Walk/Run and Car Wash is set for Saturday to raise money for Voices of the Village and the Village Music and Arts programs for people with disabilities and their family and friends.
Participants are invited to register to walk, run or roll along 1-mile, 5k or 10k routes starting from Legion Gazebo Park, 114 N. Olympic Ave., Arlington. Registration opens at 11 a.m. Start times are at 12:30 p.m. (10k), 1 (5k) and 1:30 (1 mile). Registration is by donation, with a suggested minimum of $30.
A car wash runs the same day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cenex Co-op Supply. Suggested donation is $10.

Korean group to visit: A delegation from South Korea is expected in Lynnwood this week. The visit is part of Lynnwood’s new sister city program with the county of Damyang.
