Volunteer at the food bank: Volunteers are needed at the Volunteers of America Food Bank this holiday season at 1230 Broadway in Everett.
They are looking for enthusiastic, committed volunteers to give at least a shift per week from November through January.

Free film today: The Snohomish Carnegie Foundation will host its second international film festival at 1 p.m., Saturday at the Historic Snohomish Carnegie Library, 105 Cedar Ave.
Donate for van: A fundraising breakfast for the mobile health clinic, a project led by Puget Sound Christian Clinic in conjunction with local churches, is scheduled from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
The event will be at the Snohomish Senior Center, 506 Fourth St. Money raised helps pay for equipment and supplies for a mobile clinic.
