Everett Community College is hosting three college planning family nights.
The first event is at 5:15 p.m. March 6 at EvCC’s Everett campus, 2000 Tower St. Learn what college can do for you, how to get started, ways to pay for college, what program or degree is right for you and how to earn college credit in high school.
Visit EvCC’s East County Campus at 5:15 p.m. March 12 to learn about how to get started, get information on financial aid and decide what college is right for you.
That campus will also provide information at 5:15 p.m. March 14 about programs offered in east county, including business, education, health care careers, criminal justice and aerospace manufacturing. EvCC’s East County Campus is located at 14090 Fryelands Blvd. SE, Suite 373, Monroe.
All events are open to everyone — high school students, adult students, professionals interested in a career change or promotion, parents, spouses, partners and friends.
Free snacks will be served, and parking is also free.

Homeward Pet Adoption Center celebrates 23 years with a special event Feb. 23, when all adoptions of cats and dogs are $23.
Throughout February, the shelter aims to collect 230 donations of $23 to help provide vaccinations, food, microchips, FeLV/FIV tests, and more.
