Davis Place, 9612 271st St. NW, next door to the Stanwood Community Resource Center, plans to hold a Guitar Hero battle at 7 tonight. The event is for teens and run by teens.
Registration is free, and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place.

Vietnam wall coming to Bothell area: The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall, a 240-foot-long, eight-foot-high replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, may be viewed from Friday through Sunday at Acacia Memorial Park, 14951 Bothell Way NE in Seattle.
The replica has traveled to more than 200 cities across the country and has been visited by millions of Americans.
Volunteers will unload the wall, assemble the walkway, and connect the memorial’s panels starting this morning. They will also install plants, pitch tents and place more than 100 flags to lead visitors to the memorial.
Lake Stevens sale benefits senior center: A 2009 August Estate Sale begins today for the Lake Stevens Senior Center.
It’s planned from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at 2302 Soper Hill Road in Lake Stevens.
There will be custom-built utility trailers and a canoe with a walking trailer. Sunday is half-off day.
