HopeWorks workshops
HopeWorks is an agency created to help homeless and at-risk families living in Housing Hope housing receive job training. HopeWorks is holding the first of four Social Enterprise workshops Sept. 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at HopeWorks Station, 3331 Broadway Ave., Everett.
This series of marketing workshops is intended for social enterprise businesses and will provide an overview of how to develop a marketing plan intended to help your business gain and sustain a competitive advantage. The series also will serve as an introduction for participants to the new Social Enterprise Network Resource Center at HopeWorks Station.
The workshop is free, and coffee and light refreshments will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring lunch.
To confirm attendance, contact DianneEasley@hopewrks.org by Sept. 15. Future workshops are scheduled for Oct. 8, Nov. 13 and Dec. 10.
Housing Hope combines emergency shelter and transitional housing with critical services such as life-skills training, child care, case management and employment counseling. The agency also provides affordable apartments and home ownership opportunities for low-income people of Snohomish County and Camano Island.
