Japanese Gulch benefit
The Japanese Gulch Group Community Benefit is planned for Saturday in Mukilteo.
Group members will share information about the Cascade Land Conservancy and present a slide show about the gulch.
There will be swing dancing and a silent auction. American Indian artist James Madison will offer two prints for the auction. To see his work, visit www.jamesmadisonart.com.
The benefit is planned for 7:30 p.m. at Rosehill Community Center, Lincoln Ave., 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo.

Business group set to meet: The Darrington Area Business Association is set to meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cascade Senior Center, 1115 Darrington St.
Anyone is welcome to attend.
Give packages for Easter: The YWCA of King and Snohomish counties needs spring baskets for children in its transitional housing programs.
The deadline to give packages is Friday.
Candy, toys, socks, toothbrushes and games all make good basket fillers. Money also will be accepted.
Baskets can be dropped off during business hours through Friday at the Pathways for Women shelter, 6027 208th St. SW, Lynnwood, and the YWCA Everett office, 3301 Broadway.
