About roundabouts
The state Department of Transportation has scheduled an open house tonight for people who want to learn about two Lake Stevens roundabouts to be built in 2013.
The two single-lane roundabouts near the 99th Avenue NE and the 113th Avenue NE intersections are meant to smooth traffic flow and reduce the risk of serious collisions involving drivers turning on and off the highway.
The open house is planned from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Lake Stevens High School commons, 2908 113th Ave. NE. A presentation is planned at 6 p.m.
