Recruiting workshop
The Everett School District will host two free informational sessions on athletic recruiting on March 8 and 9. Recruiting Realities provides student athletes and their families an educational resource about the collegiate athletic recruiting process.
Students, parents and coaches are invited to attend.
The events will be Tuesday at Eisenhower Middle School, 4730 Colby Ave., and March 9 at Cascade High School, 801 E. Casino Road.
Both sessions begin at 7 p.m.
Dairy scholarship offered: A $750 scholarship is available to a Snohomish County graduating high school senior who works on a dairy farm, is involved in a dairy program, such as Future Farmers of America or 4-H, or whose family is actively engaged in the dairy industry.
The student’s intended field does not need to be agriculture-related.
The scholarship will go toward college, technical or vocational school of the student’s choice and is to be used within one year of graduation from high school.
Scholarship notebooks must contain a completed application, high school transcript, list of extracurricular activities and a short essay of 300 to 500 words on the applicant’s future plans and the influence of the dairy industry on the applicant’s career choice.

They must be postmarked by April 1.
