Dog park closure: The Strawberry Fields off-leash dog park in Marysville has temporarily closed.
A large portion of the trails have been washed out from the rain, and repairs are needed. Officials expect the park will be closed for two to three weeks.

Gold Bar City Council opening: The Gold Bar City Council is looking to fill a vacant seat.
Candidates must have lived in the city for at least a year and have been registered to vote there for at least six months.
Those interested should mail a list of their qualifications and a letter of interest to: City of Gold Bar, Attn: Clerk Treasurer, 107 5th St., Gold Bar, WA 98251.
