Center seeks teachers
The Ken Baxter Community Center is looking for independent contract pay instructors to teach classes for summer and fall.
Proposed subjects may be in art, crafts, education, workshops, business or other topics.
The Ken Baxter Community Center is operated by Marysville Parks and Recreation.

Kids can make crafts for Valentine’s Day: Everett Public Library is offering a free Valentine’s Day crafts program for kids.
Participants can make Valentine cards, decorations and gifts for friends and family. All supplies are provided free; all ages are welcome.
The program is scheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Evergreen Branch Library, 9512 Evergreen Way, and from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Children’s Department at the Main Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave.

Fundraiser in Stanwood: Jen Bell-Burgess of Stanwood is fighting a rare form of cervical cancer.
Friends and family have organized a benefit concert set for 7 tonight at Amigo Mexican Restaurant, 6996 265th St. NW, in Stanwood.
The band Brigade from Everett plans to perform Led Zeppelin tunes. A donation jar will be set up at the restaurant and raffle tickets will be sold.
