Washington gubernatorial candidates Rob McKenna and Jay Inslee are scheduled to meet on stage at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday for their first debate in Spokane.
Inslee is the leading Democratic candidate and McKenna is the leading Republican candidate in the race to replace Gov. Christine Gregoire. The debate is hosted by the Association of Washington Business and Greater Spokane Inc.
People in Snohomish County can watch the event live on TVW and webcast live on tvw.org. It will be moderated by Austin Jenkins, Olympia correspondent for the Northwest News Network.

The event at the Bing Crosby Theater is only for Association of Washington Business members, news media and invited guests of the candidates.
Art sale: An artist garage sale is planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday* at the Schack Art Center, 2921 Hoyt Ave. in downtown Everett.
More than 100 artists plan to sell glass, ceramics, paintings, supplies, old stock and more at garage sale prices.
This year, the event will include gourmet food trucks.
Free parking is available at the Everpark Garage, 2823 Hoyt Ave.
