Flashlight egg hunt
The city of Mill Creek has scheduled its annual flashlight egg hunt at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Heatherwood Middle School.
The event is open to students in 6th through 12th grades. Students need to bring a flashlight, a bag for candy and a waiver signed by their parents. The forms are available on the city’s website, at City Hall and at the event.
Stair climb efforts continue: Marysville firefighters plan a fundraising event from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Tulalip Ram restaurant. Crews will be in full gear on a stair climber.
The event is part of the annual Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s annual firefighters stairclimb event, which took place earlier this month. The fundraiser runs through March 31.
Edmonds schools discuss budget:The Edmonds School District plans a series of community meetings about the district’s 2015-16 budget: 4 p.m. Wednesday at Meadowdale High School (6002 168th St. SW, Lynnwood); 7 p.m. April 1 at Lynnwood High School (18218 North Road, Bothell); 7 p.m. April 22 at Edmonds-Woodway High School (7600 212th St. SW, Edmonds); and 4 p.m. April 29 at Mountlake Terrace High School (21801 44th Ave. W.).
