Toy drive
A motorcycle group’s stuffed animal toy drive to benefit Christmas House is underway. Goldwing Touring Association Chapter C, based in Everett, kicked off the toy drive Saturday and will collect animals through Dec. 12.
Donations of new or like-new stuffed toys can be dropped off Tuesdays through Saturdays inside Everett Powersports, 215 SW Everett Mall Way.

County budget forum: The Snohomish County Council has scheduled a forum at 6:30 p.m. Monday to discuss spending priorities in next year’s budget. It’s planned in council chambers at the Robert Drewel Building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
County Executive Dave Somers released a proposal last month with $6 million in budget cuts. The council expects to pass a budget for 2017 next month.
New MS self-help group: A new multiple sclerosis support group, the MS Sno-Flakes, meets for the first time 1-2:30 p.m. Oct. 27 (fourth Thursday) at Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers St. The group is for people with MS and their families, caregivers and friends.
