Columbia Virtual Academy information: Sultan School District and the Columbia Virtual Academy invite the public to an open house this week.
The open house is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the administrative district office, 514 Fourth St.
The event is to tell the public about the services offered by Columbia Virtual Academy, an alternative school program. The event is free and refreshments will be served.
The academy offers a tuition-free education from kindergarten to 12th grade through different options such as online courses.
Classes already started but students of any state’s school district can enroll at any time.

PTA seeks $50,000 grant: Eagle Creek Elementary School parents are attempting to update the school’s computer lab.
