An open house where people can see designs and make comments on the new Mukilteo ferry terminal is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Clinton Community Hall, 6411 Central Ave. in Clinton. The new $129 million ferry terminal is scheduled to open in mid-2019. It will replace Mukilteo’s current 60-year-old ferry terminal.
Meet up with Everett mayor Monday: Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson will be meeting people in an informal lunchtime discussion Monday at the main branch of the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave. Stephanson will provide updates on city events and projects and the public will be able to ask questions or share feedback.

The next Lake Stevens “Coffee with the Chiefs” event is set for Wednesday.
Fire Chief Kevin O’Brien and Police Chief Dan Lorentzen will be available at the senior center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The address is 2302 Soper Hill Road.
In other chief news, the new Mill Creek police chief has a public swearing-in ceremony coming up. The event for Chief Gregory Elwin is scheduled for 6 p.m. March 1 at City Hall, 15728 Main Street.
