Marysville screening ‘Race’ documentary: The City of Marysville is holding a free screening of the three-part PBS documentary, “Race: The Power of an Illusion” Saturday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The documentary explores the biological myth of race, and its social and political construction. Each one-hour episode will be followed by a panel discussion and facilitated conversation about the issues raised in the film. The film will be shown at Marysville United Methodist Church, located at 5600 64th St. NE. Lunch will be provided and pre-registration is required.
