Port seeks ideas
The Port of Everett is soliciting feedback on how to improve the plan for the North Marina uplands.
The upland property was slated for dense, mixed-use development. The developer of the mixed-use concept, Maritime Trust Company, filed bankruptcy in 2008. In Mar
ch, all development restrictions on the site were lifted when the bankruptcy claims were settled.
The port now wants to know what you think about other uses for the upland boating facilities, the best location for different types of businesses, how dense development should be, and how much parking and open space should be available. A comment form is set up online at the port’s website.
