There are so many interesting issues on the upcoming ballot.

Don’t miss out on your chance to vote for your people picks and weigh in yay or nay on the measures.

You need to register to vote by Monday in order to cast a ballot for the Nov. 8 general election.

Register in person at the county auditor’s office in Everett.

The deadline for previously registered Washington voters to change their voting addresses or for anyone to register online or by mail was Oct. 10.

Please include complete addresses. Sure, everyone in town knows where to find the Grange Hall, but we still publish the address nevertheless so out of town guests can find your happening.

Pet party benefits PAWS: From 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, bring pets to Zion Lutheran Church of Everett.

The event features games, a pet parade, an owner and pet costume contest, pet portraits, and the opportunity to have you and your pets blessed by pastor Jeannine Daggett.

Bring a donation from the Progressive Animal Welfare Society’s wish list found at www.paws.org/gift-drive.html.

The event will be held in the church basement at 4834 Alger Ave. in Everett.

Pets must be on a leash or in appropriate restraints.
