Dine on salmon
A salmon barbecue is planned on Camano Island.
The annual event is planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Camano Senior and Community Center, 606 Arrowhead Road.
Tickets are $20 at the Camano Center or at the Second Chance Thrift Shop, 1335 E. Highway 532 on Camano Island.

Host city: Mountlake Terrace Recreation and Parks Summer Camp program has been selected to host Olympic Day 2011 on July 8.
The event, sanctioned by the United States Olympic Committee, will include a presentation by Olympian Kylee Berger, field day-style Olympic Games for all Mountlake Terrace Recreation and Parks camp children, a proclamation, as well as opening and closing ceremonies.

Discuss transportation: The Washington State Transportation Commission has planned a meeting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Puget Sound Regional Council Boardroom, 1011 Western Ave., Suite 500 in Seattle to discuss ferry fares.
And it’s planned a meeting to discuss I-405 express toll lanes at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE in Bellevue.
