The Cascade High School service club offers a free Sunday dinner for senior citizens. The event includes entertainment.
The senior dinner is set for 4 p.m. March 15 at 801 E. Casino Road in Everett. To make a reservation, call 425-385-6014.
The Monroe Public Schools Foundation and Galaxy Theatre offer the 1959 film “Some Like It Hot” as the February Classic Movie Selection.
The film stars Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon.
See the film at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 1 Galaxy Way in Monroe. Before the show, there will be a trivia contest with a chance to win theater passes.
Tickets are $7. A portion of the proceeds go to the Monroe Public Schools Foundation.

A Strengthening Families Program for teens and parents, is offered for free in March and April by the Lake Stevens Family Center and Lake Stevens School District.
The class begins at 6 p.m. March 10 and continues on Tuesdays through April 21 at Cavelero Mid-High School, 8220 24th St. SE, Everett.
The class is for kids ages 11 to 14 and their parents to learn communication skills; how to identify dreams and goals; and how to deal with stress and peer pressure; and how to respond to rules.
