The Seattle International Film Festival continues to show films at the Everett Performing Arts Center through this weekend and through next week.
Since 2010, SIFF has shown films at the Performing Arts Center.
Nearly two dozen films will screen in Everett, including films from Denmark, Germany, Australia, Palestine, Spain, the United Kingdom and South Africa.

Help Deception Pass Park: People are invited to compete in a 800-meter swim, a 12-mile bike ride and a 4-mile run during the first Deception Pass Challenge.
The Deception Pass Park Foundation is sponsoring the event to encourage park exploration, promote Deception Pass and raise money for education and protection of the park.
The challenge starts at 8 a.m. June 16, 41020 Highway 20, Oak Harbor. Cost to enter is $50 for individuals and $100 for a team.

Help church with its bell: A Kirkland handbell choir is scheduled to play in Monroe next week to raise money for a church here that had its antique bell stolen.
St. Mary of the Valley Catholic Church’s hefty brass bell was pinched in November. Thieves busted up the bell and sold it as scrap metal.
A new bell and tower are expected to be celebrated during a ceremony in July. Details for that event are still being worked out, Monroe church officials said.
To help with the fundraising efforts, the Angelus Handbell Choir from the Holy Family church in Kirkland will perform at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Monroe church, 601 W. Columbia St.
The concert is free, but donations are welcome.
