The public is invited to attend a dinner to raise money for Victim Support Services. The Everett-based nonprofit provides resources to crime victims and their families.
The dinner and auction is scheduled for March 28 at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St. SW. Registration is at 5:30 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m.

Lynnwood mulls storage rules: A public hearing is planned tonight on Lynnwood’s zoning rules regarding storage businesses. The City Council meeting starts at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
After the hearing, the council is expected to vote on allowing self-storage businesses in industrial areas and business parks.
Mukilteo offers scholarship: The City of Mukilteo is seeking applications from students who are interested in receiving a $1,250 scholarship sponsored by the Association of Washington Cities’ Center for Quality Communities Scholarship Fund.
To be eligible, a student must be graduating from high school and live within the Mukilteo city limits. Six scholarships will be awarded to students who want to attend college or a trade program. Applications are due on Feb. 27. More info: www.ci.mukilteo.wa.us/News.asp?NewsID=305.
