Support group meets
Neurologist Jordan Reichman plans to speak at a meeting of the head injury, stoke and caregivers support group in Edmonds.
The meeting is planned for 6:30 p.m. May 3 at Swedish/Edmonds Hospital, 21601 76th Ave. W. in Edmonds.
It will be held in the second floor cafeteria.
Organizer Lou Nash said the group provides resources, socialization and compassion.

Pancakes for education: Skykomish Valley Indian Education offers a Community Pancake Breakfast and All Day Rummage Sale Saturday in Monroe.
Breakfast is from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at Park Place Middle School, 1408 W. Main St. in Monroe. The cost is $5 and $3 for children. they plan to serve pancakes, sausage, eggs, orange juice and milk.
The rummage sale is from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Donate gently used, clean clothing and household items from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday or after 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Proceeds benefit cultural and educational activities for Native students.

Grow a little in the rain: Learn how to design and build a rain garden at a free workshop at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Everett Community College, 2000 Tower St. in Everett. Participants will receive a rain garden manual.
