Volunteers of America needs help: What was handed out in Christmas food baskets is probably down to turkey soup.
There are several ways to give to Volunteers of America Western Washington so food is still available for families in need.
The Volunteers of America Everett Food Bank, 1230 Broadway, Everett, accepts donations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
For every dollar donated to the Food Bank, Volunteers of America can purchase $6 worth of food.
Donations of money, hygiene products, books, school supplies and volunteer help are also needed to support Volunteers of America Housing and Transitional Services and three preschools for low-income families.
Mail checks to Volunteers of America, P.O. Box 839, Everett, WA 98206.
