Toy, clothing drive
The Goldwing Touring Association, Chapter C, motorcycle group is sponsoring a toy and clothing drive.
Donations will go to Christmas House, a charity providing free Christmas presents to thousands of children in Snohomish County.
The nonprofit is looking for stuffed animals of all colors and shapes, and for new winter coats for ages 1 through 18. Stuffed animals should be new or look like new.
People can drop off donations at Everett Powersports, 215 SW Everett Mall Way, Tuesdays through Saturdays until Dec. 10. A blue donations bin is set up outside the store.
Dine and play bingo for kids: Clothes for Kids, a Lynnwood-based charity providing free wardrobes for low-income children, is planning its second annual spaghetti feed and bingo night.
The benefit is from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at Meadowdale High School, 6002 168th St. SW, Lynnwood,

Food tasting aids scholarships: The Everett Community College Foundation fundraiser Gusto!, a tasting of food, wine and microbrews from the Northwest and around the globe is planned from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at the Comcast Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.
All proceeds from Gusto! benefit the foundation, which funds college scholarships, equipment and programs. Tickets are $50 per person.
