U.S. 2 detour
The Washington State Department of Transportation has scheduled a closure of westbound U.S. 2 from Highway 9 to Highway 204 and the Bickford Avenue ramp to westbound U.S. 2 from 8 p.m. on Tuesday to 5 a.m. on Wednesday.
Crews plan to remove temporary barriers, sweep the roadway and install curbs as part of the U.S. 2-Bickford Avenue safety project. There will be a detour.
New hours for Bastyr: Starting July 2, Bastyr’s Natural Medicine Clinic at the Edmonds Senior Center will extend its Wednesday hours. The new schedule is 9 a.m. until noon and from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The administrative fee for each visit is $15. Residents of Edmonds and nearby communities can receive services such as dietary and lifestyle counseling, physical therapy and herbal and nutritional supplements. The senior center is at 220 Railroad Ave. in Edmonds.
