The Herald is looking for a service member who will soon be returning home to Snohomish Country from the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan, or someone who has returned recently and who would be willing to have the Herald do a story on him or her.

Free parking: Trinity Lutheran College offers free parking for Everett’s Fourth of July parade at 1712 California St.
Holiday on the way: Expect closures for the Fourth of July on Monday. Here are some of them:
Government: Federal, state and local offices will be closed.
Schools: Closed.
Post offices: Closed, although express mail service continues.
Commerce: Many businesses and most banks will be closed. Everett and Alderwood malls will be open.
Transportation: Sound Transit trains and buses will operate with special holiday hours. Everett Transit will be on a Sunday schedule. Community Transit will not operate. Most ferries will operate on the summer schedule. For ferry information, go to www. wsdot.wa.gov/ferries or call 888-808-7977.
The Herald: The delivery deadline is 7:30 a.m. Classified advertising and the front lobby will be closed. Customer service for home delivery will be open from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m.
