Life-changing advances in personalized preventive medicine could be less than 10 years away thanks to new techniques and technologies, according to Dr. Leroy Hood, co-founder and president of the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle.
On Thursday, Hood will discuss the future of medicine at the Linda M. Byrnes Performing Arts Center at Arlington High School, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd.
The free presentation at 7 p.m. is sponsored by the medical staff of Cascade Valley Hospital. The lecture is open to the public.
