Work for the AquaSox
The Everett AquaSox, minor league affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, are holding a casting call Wednesday, looking for seasonal staff members for the 2014 season. Positions open include bat boy, ushers, ticket takers, promotions team, concessions, fan information and merchandise.
The AquaSox hire more than 100 seasonal employees to be a part of the AquaSox in-season cast. These employees are a huge part of the fan experience at Everett Memorial Stadium each summer. Job seekers must be at least 16 years old.
Applications can be dropped off at 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the
AquaSox Offices, 3802 Broadway, Everett.

Blumenthal talk canceled
A visit by journalist Max Blumenthal to Everett First Presbyterian Church has been canceled due to a family emergency, a church member said. Blumenthal had been scheduled to speak at the church Thursday about his book, “Goliath: Life and Loathing in Greater Israel.”
