Graduates gather at Events Center
Folks at the Everett Events Center offer congratulations to the graduating classes of 2005.
Friday night, Everett Community College’s graduation marked the beginning of ceremonies at the center.
Ten area high schools will host their graduations in downtown Everett through June 19, including Kamiak, Mariner, Lake Stevens, Marysville, Monroe, Cascade, Jackson, Everett, Shorecrest, and Shorewood high schools.
It costs more to cross the Sound
The Washington State Transportation Commission approved a 6 percent fare increase for Washington State Ferries that went into effect Wednesday.
For instance, going across the Sound from Mukilteo to Clinton went from $3.40 to $3.60 for a passenger and from $6 to $6.30 for a car and driver. The peak-season fare went from $7.50 to $7.90 for a car and driver.
