Then Lucas Eaton, who was home on a college break, exclaimed, “Whoa! Look at this!” An angel, wings spread, had appeared on the back of the fabric.

Forgetfulness and memory loss
Snohomish Seniors and Sunrise Senior Living offer “Memory Loss, Should I Worry?” at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Snohomish Senior Center, 171 Cypress Ave., Snohomish.
It’s free, and there will be two free memory screenings.
Help for women returning to work
The Displaced Homemaker Center from Pathways for Women YWCA is presenting workshops to help women who need to re-enter the work force.
The next workshop will run from Jan. 31 through Feb. 15 at the Mountlake Terrace Church of Christ, at 21507 52nd Ave. W.
The class is designed for women who have spent at least 10 years as a homemaker not working outside the home and now find it necessary to earn a living. Additional registration spots may be available for other low-income women seeking employment. Transportation and child care assistance may be available.
