PUD offers free generator classes
Learn how to safely use a portable generator by attending one of the Snohomish County PUD’s free classes.
This program features hands-on activities, such as basic operation, starting and stopping equipment, maintenance and electrical safety.
Classes will be offered at 7 p.m.:

Racing at 60 mph, on ice, no brakes
The World Championship Motorcycle Ice Racing Speedway Series is planned for 8 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Everett Events Center.
There will be different divisions featuring ice-racing bikes equipped with razor-sharp steel-studded tires.

Church offers Thanksgiving meal
Jesus the Lord Life Tabernacle will offer a free Thanksgiving dinner 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the church, 1050 State Ave., Marysville.
A free dinner for the military
Golden Corral’s fourth annual Military Appreciation Monday, with a free dinner to veterans or those who are serving in the military, is planned for 5-9 tonight at Golden Corral at 1065 State Ave. in Marysville.
The offer is based on the honor system, so no identification is required. Members of U.S. Reserves and the National Guard are also invited.
