Senior veterans earn recognition
To recognize contributions of veterans in our community, American Legion Post No. 96 in Snohomish offers a Veterans Recognition Event at 2 this afternoon at Merry Haven Health Care Center, 800 10th St. in Snohomish.
Grateful Americans and family and friends of veteran residents are encouraged to attend. The American Legion aims to look out for the best interests of veterans, and honors all American veterans in whatever war or period of peace they served.

Strum and hum at Grandview bazaar
We are happy to list holiday bazaars in our Sunday Community Calendar inside the Local section.
We’ll mention your bazaar the week before the event, and also mention your sale early if you have tables to rent to vendors.
At the Grandview Community Center, northeast of Arlington, their bazaar request is a little different than usual. They would like to hear from musicians who would like to perform at the sale planned for Nov. 27.
For more information, call Iris Ingram at 425-377-0623.
