FYI

Despite heavy rain and temperatures in the 40s, Stevens Pass Ski Resort still plans to open on Sunday. The ski area lost a few inches of snow, but cooler temperatures and more snow were anticipated today.

To make sure of the 9 a.m. opening on Sunday, check www.stevenspass.com or call 206-634-1645. If the ski area opens, only five of the 10 lifts will be running, so lift tickets will be discounted.
