Marysville man claims $25,000
Ellis Hagen of Marysville, who started playing Daily Keno a few weeks ago, won $25,000 in a recent drawing.
“The wife gets some,” he told lottery staff. And he’ll spread a little extra holiday cheer and might put some in the stock market.
Lets others do the wrap
If you are worn out from shopping and don’t want the hassle of wrapping presents, here is an idea.
Take gifts 5-8 p.m. Friday and noon-4 p.m. Saturday to the old fire station, 1430 Pioneer Highway, in Silvana.
Silvana Fire District No. 19 Auxiliary folks will wrap packages for donations to buy things for the fire department.
