No rainouts for ‘Music in the Parks’

Don’t let rainy weather keep you from a “Music in the Parks” summer concert series event.

Three of the last four events scheduled for this summer will be moved indoors if it rains, and the fourth will be rescheduled if necessary.

If it rains today, Mario Lorenz will bring his magic and mime to the inside of Legion Hall. If it’s nice, it’ll be held outside the hall, as scheduled.

The show is noon-1 p.m. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. Legion Hall is inside Legion Memorial Park at Alverson Boulevard and W. Marine View Drive.

Two family events scheduled for Sunday and Aug. 31 also will be moved indoors if it rains.

Blues band Miles from Chicago’s Thursday concert will be postponed if it rains. If it’s nice, the event will be at Port Gardner Landing 6:30-8:30 p.m., 1700 W. Marine View Drive.

Call the concert weather hotline at 425-257-8322 to find out if an event has been moved.
