Learn how to help save local streams
Get wet.
Count bugs.
Learn how to save salmon in a stream near you.
The Adopt-a-Stream Foundation is offering field training on keeping streams in Snohomish County from getting so polluted that they cannot support salmon and the bugs they feed on.
The training is Sept. 9 and 11, but the Everett-based foundation needs those who want to attend the $100 session to sign up now. The fee includes a copy of the foundation’s “Streamkeeper’s Field Guide.”
The training starts with an evening of classroom learning and is followed by an all-day session in the field.
Call 425-316-8592 to register for one of the 20 spots.
