Results from the 2004 Washington Assessment of Student Learning will be released Wednesday.
Terry Bergeson, state superintendent of public instruction, will also announce which schools made “adequate yearly progress” and which did not under the federal No Child Left Behind Act.
WASL scores will be posted by school, district and state on the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction Internet site, http://reportcard.ospi.k12.wa.us.
Individual student test scores will be distributed by school districts some time after Labor Day. The manner of distribution – by mail or parent conference – varies from district to district, said Kim Schmanke, a spokeswoman for the superintendent of public instruction.
