The recent Sharing Wheels bike sale was a success, with 20 bicycles finding new homes and $1,000 raised for the cause.

However, 21 more bicycles were donated to the group, so there was no room created in the storage unit after the sale.

The Herald is expanding its Celebrations announcements to Wednesdays, so here’s an invitation to share the precious moments in your life with family, friends and neighbors.

We’re looking for adoption, anniversary, engagement, retirement, wedding and other milestones. The Herald will run the announcements on Wednesdays beginning May 12 in the local news section, and again the following Sunday. One lucky celebrant or couple will be chosen for a "Love Story" feature, which will run on Wednesdays.

To find out how to get your free celebrations announcement in The Herald and how your story can be a Herald "Love Story," e-mail community@heraldnet.com, go to www.heraldnet.com/communityextra or call Christina Harper at 425-339-3432.
