Historic Everett offers "A Trip Down Memory Lane in Everett" by historian Jack O’Donnell at 2 p.m. today at the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave., in Everett. O’Donnell will share slides.

Beginning on Monday, Sound Transit will add 190 parking spots at the filled-to-capacity Lynnwood park-and-ride lot. Another 25 will open on Friday.
According to Sound Transit, commuters have been eagerly awaiting new parking at this transit hub, one of the busiest in the region. Before the Lynnwood Transit Center was renovated, there were about 900 parking spots. The new parking spots will bring the total to 1,326.
Another 78 parking spots will be available when the direct access ramp from I-5 is completed by the end of this year.
