The Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to assist in disaster response and other local emergencies as Disaster Action Team members.

The Snohomish Conservation District plans its annual open house 1-4p.m. Feb. 5 at 528 91st Ave. NE in Everett. At 2 p.m., awards will be given to cooperators of the year in small farm, dairy and commercial categories, wildlife farm of the year, conservation merit farms, district professional service and recognition of state award winners. Refreshments follow.
