The Trolley Days Band is starting its eighth season with a rehearsal at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Edmonds Church of God, 8224 220th St. SW.
New members are always welcome to join. There are no auditions or dues for the all-volunteer group.

Meet artist Ole Oleson at the opening of his one man show from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Marco Polo Gallery, 201 Lincoln Ave. in Old Town Mukilteo. Oleson’s current work in oils and wood is inspired by northwest scenery.
His works have been shown at the Guggenheim in New York and the Museums of Modern Art in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, and San Francisco.
