To help celebrate the 100th anniversary of powered flight, the Cascade Warbirds plan to participate in a parade of aircraft that will fly over the Puget Sound region at noon on Wednesday.
Aircraft of all types will take off from various airports to join the parade. Boeing Field hopes to launch more than 100 aircraft. The plan is to fly north over Elliott Bay, turn west over the Everett area then return south over the west side of Bainbridge Island.
