Everett artist and arts advocate Susan Jane Russell will receive the Richard Wendt Award for Excellence in a ceremony at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Everett Center for the Arts, 1057 Wall St. The award is given annually by the Everett Cultural Commission to an individual or organization for outstanding contribution to the arts in Everett.
