It’s Santa Paws photo time at the Everett Animal Shelter. For $14.95, volunteers will take five digital and two Polaroid photos of you and your favorite animals. Bring them to the Everett Animal Shelter between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at 2732 36th St. in Everett.
Please bring animals on a leash or in a carrier. All profits got to the Animal Welfare Fund to support shelter animals.
This year’s Christmas House is located at the Boys and Girls Club gymnasium, 2316 12th St. in Everett. It provides free gifts to low-income Snohomish County Families with children.
It needs new toys, teen gifts (especially for boys), new gifts and clothing for infants, children, men and women. Cash donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 717, Everett, 98206. Volunteers are needed to help guide families through the store.
The store will be open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays. The store will be open Dec. 6-7, 9-13, 16-20. For toy and clothing drop-off and to volunteer for the Christmas House, visit www.christmas-house.org or call 425-338-2273.

A Disaster Recovery Center will be open 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. through Saturday at the American Legion Hall at 301 S. Granite Ave., Granite Falls.
