View decorative rocks and minerals
Maplewood Rock and Gem Club offers a Rock and Mineral Sale.
Bev Ryder from Bothell will show decorative rock spheres, some as small as marbles, some as large as bowling balls, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at 8802 196th St. SW in Edmonds.
See all kinds of rocks — rough stones and jewelry. It’s free to get in and there will be free stones for kids.

Correction
Text messages sent by one of two survivors of a plane crash on northern Vancouver Island on Sunday led to their rescue. A headline on Page B4 Monday misstated the role the cell phone-sent messages played in the crash, in which five people were killed.
