Spring crafts fair comes to Whidbey
The Island County Fair Association offers a Country Spring Crafts and Antique Faire in the 4-H building at the Island County Fairgrounds, 819 Camano Ave., Langley.
The event is 1 to 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Vendors will display lotions, soaps, hats, jewelry, collectables, garden decor, pottery made from Whidbey Island’s clay banks and other gift items.
Snohomish shows development online
Snohomish’s Web site features an updated construction and development activity map that shows what is being built in the city. The Web site address is www.ci.snohomish.wa.us.
The map features major commercial and housing projects, including Snohomish Station, on Bickford Avenue. A new Fred Meyer store opened there in March. Two other anchor tenants at the 400,000-square-foot shopping center will open soon: Kohl’s this week and Home Depot in May.
